Finalmente tenemos los ganadores de la 93st Academy Awards o como popularmente se le conoce, los Premios Óscar, que resaltan lo mejor de la industria cinematográfica, cerrando la temporada de premios, en una ceremonia sin anfitrión y poco público debido a la pandemia.
Las estatuillas estuvieron muy repartidas, a diferencia de otros años, no se puede realmente decir que una película haya arrasado. Sin embargo, también hubo mucha diversidad entre los ganadores, algo que ha sido criticado en versiones anteriores y parece que la Academia ha escuchado a la audiencia. Chloé Zhao se convirtió en la segunda mujer de la historia en ganar como Mejor Directora por Nomadland, mientras que Yuh-Jung Youn es la primera persona surcoreana en ganar un Óscar con su papel secundario en la película Minari.
